Sean King’s Excursions
Sean King serves as the current Vice President of Park Strategies, a political and business advisory firm in New York City. Sean King manages the firm’s exploratory field offices in Taipei, Taiwan.
Former New York Senator Alfonse D’Amato founded the firm in 1998. In the mid 1990s, Sean King had the opportunity to work alongside D’Amato as a House File Production Manager, in which he coordinated the bidding process as well as managed the quality and production of all direct marketing fundraising.
Since Sean King Park Strategies career started, he has taken serious responsibility for the firm’s business relationships towards China, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Prior to joining Park Strategies, Sean King had served the US Department of Commerce as the Senior Advisor for Asia in the US and Foreign Commercial Service, which led him to attend over 30 Asia related trade events and fixed interviews with the local press. Eventually, Sean King traveled to mainland China as the advisor for a number of senior officials which included John Hoeven, Donald Evans, George Pataki and J.W. Marriott, Jr. As an outcome of one of these trips in June 2004, Sean King was able to carry out the US-China Forum on Venture Capital and SMEs in Shanghai and Beijing.
